Product Care

 

Your candles are made with love and care. To ensure you receive the most burn time, you will need to give your candle a little extra care by following the instructions below.

CARING FOR YOUR CANDLE:

• We recommend removing larger crystals from your candle to avoid the crystal interfering with the wick or flame. Please remember: They can be hot, so we recommend removing them using a metal spoon when safe to do so. 
• Burn your candle until the surface wax has melted to the edge of the candle jar to create an even candle memory and avoid tunnelling for future burns.
• Always keep your wick trimmed 5-7mm prior to lighting for a clean and longer burn time.
• Stop burning your candle when approximately 1cm of wax remains in the jar.
• Store your candle in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
• Once you have reached the end of your candle, remove your crystals carefully, and gently rinse them under hot soapy water to melt away any remaining wax.
• The candle jar can be repurposed by washing in hot soapy water.

CANDLE SAFETY:

• Keep your candle out of reach from children and pets.
• Always burn your candle on a flat, heat resistant surface away from vents, wind, or flammable objects.
• Never leave a burning candle unattended. 
• Do not burn your candle for more than 4 hours at a time. 
• Do not attempt to pick up or move your lit candle. Allow wax to cool before moving.

 

 

Exxale diffusers are made with love and care. To ensure you receive the most usage time, you will need to give your diffuser a little care by following the instructions below.

CARING FOR YOUR DIFFUSER:

• To use - remove the cap and clear stopper, add the cap back on and insert the reeds.
• Flip the reeds every 3-6 days to freshen the fragrance taking care not to spill the oil.
• Use a coaster or plate under your diffuser to keep any oil drips from damaging your surfaces.
• Place your reed diffuser in a high traffic area, this encourages air circulation and lifts the fragrance,
• Keep the diffuser out of the reach of children and pets.
• Do not light the reeds.

 

 

ROOM SPRAY CARE & SAFETY:

• Highly flammable. 
• Keep away from heat, sparks, open flames and hot surfaces.
• Do not expose to extreme heat. 
• Keep out of reach of children and pets. 
• Do not ingest. If consumed - seek medical advice.
• Do not spray directly on skin. Contact with product may cause eye or skin irritation. If eye contact occurs, flush thoroughly with water. If skin contact occurs, rise with water. 
• Do not spray directly on surfaces, fabrics and furniture.
• Store room sprays in a cool, dry place to retain the scent and its effectiveness. If stored correctly, room sprays should last longer than 12 months.

 

DIRECTIONS:

Spray 2-3 pumps throughout the immediate space and refresh as needed. The aroma can last up to several hours.

 

 

Crystals can absorb energies from ourselves and from the environment around us. 
Over time, the energies your crystal is holding, can build up and affect the full potential of your crystal.
Regularly cleansing and recharging your stones is the only way to restore your crystal back to its pure state.
 
All our ethically sourced crystals at Exxale have been cleansed and energised, ready for you. 
We suggest that you perform your own cleansing ritual to cleanse and charge your new crystals, introducing your own energy and positive intentions. 
 
To choose a cleansing method, use your intuition – whatever feels right for you and the crystal you want to cleanse. 
Your intention is the key! Think of a bright light, and good intentions when cleansing & charging your crystals.

HOW TO CLEANSE & CHARGE YOUR CRYSTALS:

RUNNING WATER
Water is believed to neutralise any negative energies stored inside crystals.
 
Directions: Place your crystals directly under tap water, natural rain, or in a stream, for a few minutes. 
As you do so, ask the universe to remove all negative energies and fill it with your good intentions. If you are a visual person, you can imagine a ray of white light around the stone while cleansing. Pat dry crystals once complete.

We recommend that you do not soak your crystals in water.
Use this for: hard crystals, such as quartz & amethyst
Don't use this for: crystals that are brittle or soft, such as anything ending in ‘ite’

MOONLIGHT
The full moon is a powerful moonlight full of high vibrational energy that will cleanse and charge your crystals to their highest and brightest form.
 
Directions: Leave your crystals outside under the moonlight overnight (preferably a full moon). If you don't have an outdoor area that is safe for your crystals to be placed, a windowsill will work, too. 
 
We recommend bringing your crystals in before the sun comes up as some crystals (bright crystals) may fade in sunlight. 
If it is damp outside, we recommend not cleansing any soft stones that may get damaged by water.
Use this for: any crystal or stone

SMUDGING TOOLS
Sage or Palo Santo Wood can be used to smudge crystals. 
Smudging your stone is said to lift all unwanted energies and carry them away, restoring its  natural energy.
 
Directions: Ignite the tip of the Sage or Palo Santo, then put out the flame, and wave the smoke around your crystals. Allow the smoke to envelope your crystals for around 30 seconds. As you do this process, think positive intentions, and try to visualise all unwanted energies being lifted.
We recommend performing this ritual near an open window, so the unwanted energies can exit.

Use this for: any crystal or stone

SELENITE & QUARTZ
Selenite and Quartz are unique and powerful crystals that have the ability to purify & cleanse crystals, intensifying their natural energies. Selenite and Quartz - symbolising the moon, are the white light of the universe.
 
Directions: Place your crystals on or around a piece of Selenite or Quartz and leave for a minimum of 6 hours. Following this method; without diminishing their own energy, the Selenite or Quartz will recharge and cleanse your crystals of any unwanted energies.

Use this for: any crystal or stone

 

SOUND 
Singing bowls is a great way to uplift your crystals’ energy, cleanse and clear impurities and negative vibrations. It is believed that your crystals will align with the frequency of the sound.

Directions: Place your crystals surrounding the singing bowl. Start playing your singing bowl until it is singing good vibrations. Continue to play it for a minute remembering to set your intentions for your crystals.

Use this for: any crystal or stone
 

 

STORING YOUR CRYSTALS:

Most crystals are fragile and need some extra love and care.
If your crystals are on the move, then we recommend keeping them in a pouch for safe protection. 
If you want to place your crystals around your home, then it is recommended to keep them out of direct sunlight.

 

 

 

Our crystal bottles are hand made with premium materials and love, but to ensure safety and a long life, they will need to be cared for following the steps below.  

CARING FOR YOUR CRYSTAL WATER BOTTLE:

• Handle with care.
• Do not freeze, microwave, or put in the oven.
• The glass piece is dishwasher safe or can also be hand washed with warm soapy water.
• The crystal, lid, and base are HAND WASH ONLY.
• Do not use chemicals or abrasive cleaners to wash.
• The silicone rings (found in the lid & crystal base) are HAND WASH ONLY.

The base silicone ring has a smooth and rougher side. The rougher side faces the glass part of the bottle whilst the smoother side faces the lid. Make sure the silicone ring is flattened and levelled in the base of the lid.

Note: If you find your bottle is leaking, this is because the silicone ring is not adjusted properly on the base of the bottle. Make sure the silicone ring is sitting properly, and the base is level and screwed on tightly to the glass.

 

 

 

Our resin products are unique pieces that are hand poured with love. 

To get the best use out of your resin products, they require some TLC following the steps below.  

CARING FOR YOUR RESIN PIECE:

• Wipe down with a wet cloth or hand wash only using mild soap and water. 
• Dry immediately after washing. 
• Do not soak or submerge in water.
• Do not put in the dishwasher. 
• Do treat the wood board with oil if the wood is looking dull and dry.
• Use coconut, mineral, linseed, or beeswax oil. Rub the oil into the wood with a cloth until the whole board is covered.
• Do not use vegetable or olive oil.
• Avoid harsh chemicals or rubbing alcohol.
• Store away from direct sunlight and extreme heat.
• Avoid cutting on the resin section of any piece. This will damage the finish.
